National High School Mock Trial Championship

The National High School Mock Trial Championship brings together the top mock trial team from each state, several U.S. territories, and international affiliates to argue a specially written civil or criminal case before real attorneys and judges.

Teams advance by winning their state mock trial competition, then compete across several days of preliminary and elimination rounds culminating in a championship round. The tournament rotates host cities annually and typically draws around 46 teams.
