USA Mathematical Talent Search (USAMTS)

USAMTS is a free, proof-based mathematics competition for US high school students that runs across four rounds each school year, giving roughly a month per round to write full proofs for each problem (calculators and references permitted).

It has run since 1989 and is administered by the Art of Problem Solving Foundation, serving as a well-known stepping stone toward MOP/USAMO-track competitions. Top scorers receive certificates and national ranking recognition.
