YMCA Youth and Government
YMCA Youth and Government is a national civic-education program in which high school students research legislation, campaign for mock elected office, and debate bills at a state-capitol conference.
About
Since 1936, the program has trained delegates in legislative, judicial, executive, and press roles through year-long state chapters run by local YMCAs. Delegates are recruited and prepared through their local YMCA chapter rather than a single national application.
