ORNL Next Generation STEM Internship Program (NGSI)
NGSI places high school juniors, seniors, and recent graduates from eight East Tennessee counties in 7-10 week paid STEM research appointments with Oak Ridge National Laboratory scientists and engineers.
About
Interns receive a $500 weekly stipend and optional access to workshops, lab tours, and networking events. Applicants need a minimum 3.0 GPA, U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and one STEM-teacher recommendation.
