SourceAmerica IDEATE Competition (Design Challenge)
About
The SourceAmerica IDEATE competition (formerly the SourceAmerica Design Challenge) invites high school and college engineering teams to design assistive technology that improves workplace inclusion for people with disabilities, working throughout the school year with a subject-matter expert who has a disability. Finalist teams present prototypes at a national event, and top college participants can earn paid IDEATE internships. It is organized by SourceAmerica, a national nonprofit focused on employment for people with disabilities.
