Vanderbilt Aspirnaut High School Summer Research Internship
About
The Aspirnaut High School Summer Research Internship brings 15 to 20 students nationally, with an emphasis on recruiting from rural areas, to Vanderbilt University for a six-week residential research experience conducting biomedical research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center under a faculty mentor. Interns receive a $2,000 stipend along with room, board, and ACT/SAT preparation sessions. The program has run since 2009 and requires a transcript, two recommendation letters, and proof of health insurance.
