NYC Ladders for Leaders
About
Ladders for Leaders is New York City's competitive summer internship program, administered by the Department of Youth and Community Development, placing high-achieving high school juniors, seniors, and college students in paid internships with corporations, nonprofits, and government agencies. Participants complete 30 hours of pre-employment training before working 25-40 paid hours per week for six weeks. Applicants must be NYC residents ages 16-24 with prior work or volunteer experience.
